The history behind the store
Over the past 93 years, our company has enjoyed playing an important part in the lives of families on the Olympic Peninsula. Though we operate out of Port Angeles, our customers come from Neah Bay, Forks, Sequim, Port Hadlock, Clallam Bay, Port Townsend, Sekiu, Brinnon, Port Ludlow. Even with such a broad consumer base, Angeles Furniture prides itself on being able to call on customers by name and deliver friendly and professional service.
The community of the Peninsula has changed a great deal from the time Angeles Furniture began in 1919. It is doubtful that Harvey Gray or Howard Breen, founders of the store, would recognize the Peninsula's growing establishments; however, they would find that the warm demeanor and hospitality of the Northwest's citizens has remained unchanged.
At Angeles Furniture, we believe that civic consciousness is an integral part of maintaining a good reputation within the community. We support the local Clallam County YMCA, the Soroptimist, Olympic Memorial Hospital Foundation Festival of Trees, the Nor'Wester Rotarian Organization. We have also donated to the Boy Scouts of America, the Port Angeles High School Senior Class, and Port Angeles Little League. This is just to name a few.
Since 1986, when we became the third generation owners of Angeles Furniture, we have pledged to continue a tradition of excellence. Angeles Furniture continues to be a full-service store carrying complete lines of bedding, bedroom furniture, formal dining, dinettes, sofas, love seats, chairs, and occasional tables. Whether you want to browse, purchase or obtain information, we at Angeles Furniture are proud of our personable service.
